I had switched to NB shoes a couple years ago, thinking my feet would appreciate the support. After a few months, I went even further into the squishy shoe territory with Hokas and those made me feel like a Kingdom Hearts character. Eventually, I switched back to NOBULLs, which have zero squish but I love them. They too avoid that parental aesthetic I’m not quite ready for!
As someone whose father literally wears the white New Balance dad shoe, I agree. Those aren't terribly far removed, but they are removed and not in Dad Shoe territory 👍
So weird to see Stephen with 3 pairs of shoes now I remember back in the day all it was was flip flops and then those old hiking shoes he would wear when he was forced to wear shoes lol
the whole getting blisters from walking around in sandals too long... oof, we were in Hawaii this last May and I was hauling it in sandals cuz it was raining... I got a blister that later burst and it put a huge damper on walking the next few days :/ which unfortunately involved a fair bit of walking but I didn't use sandals again except for dinner on the cruise ship
Can't say I'm a huge fan of Special K, simply because I've never really been into corn flakes. As for shoes, luckily I don't have that issue where I need shoes to be adjusted because of wide feet or you're unable to find the right size. However, as for comfort shoes I use Sketchers and they've been the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, especially the memory foam one's
I really believe in barefoot shoes, aka having as little between you and the ground as possible. The fluffy cloud shoes weaken your feet over time because you're not using as many muscles when you walk, but I suppose if you spend a lot of time barefoot or in socks at home, it's alright. But unless you have foot issues, like bunions or other podiatric problems, going barefoot or very thin shoes are the best way to keep your feet in good shape.
My dad, in the past few years has become a self-taught podiatry expert because of his foot issues is also a big proponent of barefoot style shoes, especially in terms of larger toe boxes . He tried Xero at first but needs a little more support so he tried Altra and it's now his main shoe. I'm to use Xero and absolutely love it. I have a physical job where I'm walking all day and I have a had zero foot issues since switching to Xero.
you don't know the agony of de feet until you realize your shoe size mainly only comes in dad shoe™ orz
What's more important is that we need to get you to start wearing 'Granddad' shoes, to go with the rest of the theme, you understand.
Speed Surl™ that would make even Sonic jealous. Impressive.
shoes shoes shoes shoes kepler
my favorite aspect of surl is that it is *TOMATO KETCHUP.*
This can't be surl, because, as we all know, surl is to be enjoyed dryyyyyyyyy

A guest bed? Are you actually using it for more than just your friends?
I have work shoe, I have normal shoe, I have boot shoe, I have sandal shoe.
I’m extremely basic.
LOL. You are not a 'big' person, you are a *tall* person. There is a marked difference.
